From Specimen to Sculpture
What began as a thesis project became the heart of Wanghin Lab. Inspired by a real insect specimen, we 3D modeled, printed, and hand-painted a large-scale replica with stunning precision. To complete the scene, we added a miniature self-portrait of the maker beside the model.
This small exhibition is a tribute to both craftsmanship and curiosity, marking the beginning of our journey into insect-inspired art and design.
Passion for Nature, Powered by Imagination
Wanghin Lab is a nature-inspired home studio led by two brothers, Kawin and Kavee. Blending art, science, and technology, we create large-scale insect models and DIY exhibits based on real research and wild curiosity. From 3D printing to airbrush painting, everything we do is rooted in our love for insects, nature, and storytelling.
